West Herr Chevrolet of Rochester is located at 3850 West Henrietta Road in Rochester, NY 14623, on Route 15 in the heart of the Henrietta retail corridor. Our Service department opens at 7:30 AM six days a week, earlier than the showroom every day, and Thursday is the one evening all three departments stay open until 7:00 PM. Like every franchised new-car dealership in New York State, we are closed on Sunday.

Which department is open when

Our three departments run on three different schedules, and the differences are large enough to be worth two minutes of reading before you drive out.

Service opens earliest and closes earliest

Service opens at 7:30 AM Monday through Saturday, ninety minutes before the showroom on weekdays. That makes an early drop-off possible on any day we are open, including Saturday. The trade-off is the other end of the day: Service closes at 5:00 PM Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, two hours before Sales does on Monday and Tuesday. If you are counting on picking your vehicle up after work, that 5:00 PM close is the number that catches people out.

Thursday is the exception, and it is the most useful day on our calendar. Service stays open until 7:00 PM on Thursday, Parts matches it, and Sales is open until 7:00 PM as well. If your schedule only allows an evening visit, Thursday is the single day you can drop off, pick up, buy a part and talk to a salesperson all after 5:00 PM.

Saturday Service runs 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, our earliest close of the week. Saturday is also our busiest service day, so an appointment is worth considerably more than a walk-in that morning.

Parts keeps showroom hours, except Thursday

Parts is open 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Wednesday, and Friday and Saturday. On Thursday it opens at 7:30 AM and stays until 7:00 PM. If you are picking up a part on your way to work, Thursday is the only morning the counter is staffed before 9:00 AM.

Sales runs latest Monday, Tuesday and Thursday

Sales is open 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM Wednesday and Friday, and 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Saturday. Monday, Tuesday and Thursday give you the widest window for an evening test drive.

Holiday hours differ from the schedule above. West Herr closes on major holidays so employees can spend them at home, and we occasionally close early for a community or team event. Current holiday closures are posted on our homepage and on our Google Business Profile before they take effect.

Getting to 3850 West Henrietta Road

We sit on the west side of West Henrietta Road (Route 15), a few minutes south of the Jefferson Road intersection and the Marketplace Mall retail cluster. If you know where Marketplace Mall is, you are within a two-minute drive of our lot. Rochester Institute of Technology is roughly two miles away by way of Jefferson Road, which makes us one of the closest Chevrolet service departments to campus.

What to expect when you arrive

Customer parking is on our own lot, and there is no metered street parking or garage to deal with. Sales visitors should park near the showroom entrance. Service customers pull into the service drive rather than parking first, and an advisor will meet you at your vehicle.

If you are dropping a vehicle off before the showroom opens, Service is already staffed from 7:30 AM. Bring your keys and a phone number you will actually answer during the day, since the fastest repairs are the ones where we can reach you for a decision without leaving a voicemail.

The honest version of our busy times

Saturday mornings and the 7:30 to 9:00 AM weekday drop-off rush are our heaviest traffic in Service. Mid-morning Tuesday through Thursday is consistently the quietest stretch of the week.
